ROAD SCHOLARSHIP

Established in 2002, the Road Scholarship program awards funds to students and youth who would otherwise not have the resources to participate in enriching and life-changing travel experience opportunities.

Designed for students in grades K-12 and 18 or younger at the time of travel, a Road Scholarship is financial aid granted to individuals or groups of five or more who have been nominated by a teacher or youth group leader and meet criteria within five categories:

ACHIEVEMENT | NEED | INITIATIVE / INVOLVEMENT | SERVICE / CITIZENSHIP | CONNECTION

The maximum award is $1,000 for individuals and $5,000 for groups.  All applications are vetted and awarded by the SYTA Youth Foundation’s Board of Trustees.  By submitting a nomination, you agree to receive communications from Teach & Travel.
