Partner with Us

The SYTA Youth Foundation, in partnership with generous donors, has created many unique and extremely successful programs that bring deserving students out into the world to explore and learn. Without the support of student travel companies, tour operators, convention and visitors bureaus, and destinations, programs such as Next Generation, Right of Passage, Backyard Bound, NYC Broadway, and more would not happen. Whether it's in-kind services, tickets, training, or volunteer manpower, we need the support of our partners.

If you are interested in hosting a program, but don't know where to start, give us a call. We would love to work with you to co-create a rewarding experience for all.

DC Backyard Bound - Our Newest Partner Program

SYF partnered with Destination DC's philanthropic arm, American Experience Foundation, to invest in local DC students through the DC Backyard Bound Program. This one-day experience gives deserving students the opportunity to explore some of Washington DC's iconic sites and attractions.

Both SYF and the American Experience Foundation provide access to unique travel opportunities for young people that would otherwise be unavailable due to family economic hardships, budget cuts in school systems, or lack of access to or education about travel as a learning experience.

DC Backyard Bound 2015

In May 2015, the annual DC Backyard Bound program took 30 8th graders from Charles Hart Middle School, located in the D.C. metro area, to the heart of Washington, D.C., to experience some of the city's most iconic sites and attractions.

"As educators, we often do not see the impact of our work on the students we work with until years after they have left us. To you, I extend the sincerest of thanks to you for allowing us to see the fires kindled in the eyes of our students. The work you do coupled with the work we do every day is making an amazing impact on our students. Please continue to encourage and extend the future of children."
Lisa Faulkner-Jones, Assistant Principal

A very special thank you to the following partners for making this program possible: Destination DCBob Rogers TravelAcademy BusHard Rock Cafe Washington D.C.Newseum, and International Spy Museum.
