The SYTA Youth Foundation Run Team uses long distance running/walking as a symbol of endurance and hope. The goal is simple - to raise money for youth to travel with their schools or youth organizations. Participants on the Run Team fundraise on behalf of the SYTA Youth Foundation, train and participate in a marathon or half-marathon, and run in honor of a student who has been chosen to receive a Roads Scholarship. In exchange for participation, Run Team members receive roundtrip airfare, lodging, and entry into the selected Marathon. The 2013 Run Team will be participating in the Utah Valley Marathon/Half Marathon/10K on June 8, 2013.

We enthusiastically invite you to join the Running For Youth Marathon/Half-Marathon/10K Team! Ok, so you might not be a runner, that's ok..., we'll help you get there! The SYTA Youth Foundation is looking for motivated individuals to challenge themselves, run the Utah Valley Marathon/Half Marathon/10K, and raise money for the SYTA Youth Foundation programs.
Our goal is for the Running For Youth Run Team to once again more than double from our previous year, bringing us to an anticipated 40 runners in our 4th year! Together, this Team will raise more than $100,000 for kids that need help. We will be running with you on 6/8/13, and we will help you with your training and fundraising from now until race day. We know we can help you get into great shape and we also know you'll have a lot of fun along the way! Please run with us and raise money for the SYTA Youth Foundation!
